Scholarships Future Leaders in Angola

Your Future in Financial Services in Angola

The Fundo Soberano de Angola (FSDEA) offers Angolan citizens with an interest in asset management, international finance and business the opportunity to significantly expand their knowledge and increase their career opportunities in the future.

During a six months scholarship at an international renowned University in Europe, the selected scholars will participate in courses and study excursions to learn about international business and through case studies, understand how successful businesses are managed. The scholars will benefit from close cooperation with Professors and fellow students from Angola and Europe.

After the successful completion of the scholarship, participants receive a diploma and the FSDEA offers outstanding scholars potential employment with the Fund in Angola.


  • Angolan citizens, 20 – 35 years old
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Law or Business Administration
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Understanding and significant interest in finance and interest to live abroad for six months

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to travel to Luanda in May for final assessments that include personal interviews and knowledge tests in English and Math. The FSDEA Scholarships will start in September 2014 and last until February 2015. Applicants must bring a valid passport to the interview in Luanda. If invited, we will collect the passport for approx. 3 weeks in order to issue the visa D by the Swiss Embassy. All visa requirements, insurance and travel planning will be handled by the FSDEA in advance.
